If it is true as you say you are still learning, then may I say that this makes your work even more stunning. The technique here is very well handled; there is smooth deftness in the lines and brush marks. There is a sense of wetness to the work, that also conveys a feeling of random happening. For example, the drips down the page and the splashes of color. However, there is also control in the detail of the facial features. Even what before may look like chaos is indeed very controlled and carefully planned.

As such, this piece does well to show that you can both handle careful detail but also water splashes. As for the colors, they are superb. It is both soft and intense at once. The eyes especially catch the gaze of the viewer, and holds this gaze quite strongly. One wants to keep looking into those intense eyes deep blue like the ocean or sapphires. Indeed, there is a definite jewel quality to this piece. Outstanding work. Do keep it up.
